Ready, GO.

Well we have arrived officially. It was hard to say goodbye but we did it and by the time all of our things were out of the house it truly didn't seem much like home anymore. It was hard to say goodbye to all of the people who we will miss so much. Friends who we will continue to miss and love forever. This is quite a journey. Tonight I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the dogs. they flew today and happend to be on a plane that got stranded in Texas for three hours, Zeke doesn't fly well either. I know he will be scarred from this trip and it will take a little while for him to get back to normal. I plan on taking them somewhere to run and play tomorrow. Van is adjusting well, tonight he danced with a waitress from Thailand who fed him every last bite of his sweet potato and the band sang twinkle twinkle little star and the itsy bitsy spider to him while he sat in his high chair on the dance floor. He is happy and that makes me feel content.

Paris, je t'aime

I found this photo of Van and my mom today as I was going through my Christmas photos, I had never seen it and I just love it. I just love hugs don't you? We should give at least 10 a day. Van loves to hug me all day long, it is the best thing ever. He also likes to pat me a lot too. I notice when he is around other kids he goes up to them and puts his head on theres even if he has never met them before. He is a warm soul, and he has a gentle heart.

I am really into Yael Naim's tunes these days. She is from Paris, and lately I have been dreaming about visiting.
YAEL NAIM & David Donatien work so well together in this album vocals and music are so harmonious. Check out some of their other songs!

Paris is calling me, ever since I watched Paris, je t'aime.
It is my kind of movie for sure through the neighborhoods of Paris, love is veiled, revealed, imitated, sucked dry, reinvented and awakened. Rent it if you haven't already seen it and curl up with your valentine, some wine, cheese & some good bread!

Conner is coming home tonight from his trip to florida, I missed him and his warm smile he brings me everyday. Van has said dad about 1 million times these past few days. He will be so happy to see him when he wakes up tomorrow (super bowl sunday) Have a good one!

Sandy feet and fruity cocktails

Well we made it to puerto Rico last night we arrived. It feels so different being away from Van for the first time. last night was the first night I have ever spent away from him, I felt like I had lost an arm or a leg and was wandering around looking for it (him). I know it is healthy to take trips and revive ourselves for him. It is good for him to be with other people too, I keep waiting for him to start being that baby who always wants his mom or dad, but he truly loves other people and loves being held by them too! I am going to upload some photos of van from florida and a few from our trip here so far.

we are having fun.... :)
